Get ready to get your hands dirty. We will get you to work alongside the local farmers in paddy fields and in vegetable farms. Not only will you be exposed to Sri Lankan farming practices, you will also be able to get firsthand experience of the daily life of the villagers as they work through the day.

Traditional agriculture in Sri Lanka has always followed organic farming practices. Farmers have relied on natural techniques to ward off pests and to improve productivity of crops. We are advocates of Organic farming and try to work with small farmers during our tours. We share some of the revenue from the farming tour with our farmers which will help them to fund some of their capital expenses.

This tour is very immersive and hands on. We encourage everybody who has a passion for agriculture to join us on this tour to learn about Sri Lankan traditional agriculture practices as well as experience the daily life of a farmer and enjoy a wholesome lunch with him and his colleagues.
